It takes around 24 hours in the SID number generation after the biometrics.
The appointment for the SID are server generated and you can not get an early appointment. However, you can request the Principal Officer for an early appointment.
First apply for duplicate SID from the BSID portal, then pay the duplicate fees charge at Bharatkosh. After that, send FIR Copy, Payment receipt, CDC and passport copy along with hand written application requesting for the issue of duplicate SID to the MMD Mumbai, Nav Bhawan address.
